My camera is my pal along the street, on beach walks, on city trips; he is my medium to try to catch precious, fleeting moments, thus making them in its turn eternal.

Or maybe, in a broader sense, I try to capture transience or disappearance in action gradually finding their way to non-existence.

I’m particularly interested in photographing people, who -I believe- are an excellent conveyer of transcience.

But the greatest joy of all is the moment I’m taken away by that sudden, unexpected scene or detail (attitude, facial expression, gesture, look, etc.) passing by as fast as it had popped up. I try to snap my shot; maybe just too late, maybe just in time…
